ABOUTSarah Ramsay, better known as the artist RAMSAY, is a professional saxophonist, clarinetist and flutist in both the Ottawa and Toronto scenes. A graduate of Humber College’s Bachelor of Music Performance, Ramsay has had the pleasure to study under phenomenal artists such as: Alex Dean, Mark Promane, Mike Tremblay, Nina Martini-Dorey, Dave Neill, and Johnny Griffith. With a strong rich sound, Ramsay brings forth a beautiful blend and a strong lead in any musical setting.
Ramsay released their debut EP SUBSIDE in September 2024. It is available on all streaming platforms!

With a strong rich sound, Ramsay brings forth a beautiful blend and a strong lead in any musical setting.Also recognized as an accomplished bandleader, arranger and composer, Sarah Ramsay is looking to expand on that practice in the new year by releasing more original music and performing more frequently. Ramsay has released an EP with all original compositions called "SUBSIDE" that can be found on all streaming platforms.Apart from studying jazz, Sarah Ramsay is a multi-faceted musician with experience not only in the traditional jazz idiom but latin, fusion, rock, pop, RnB, funk, folk and theatre music. Ramsay has been featured on albums such as Kia Rose's "Phases" on the track "Commitment Issues", Jessica Spurrel's EP "A Blessing, A Pearl" and Miguel Abuel's track "The First Flight" on his fantasy EP "Witch Kingdom". There is more to come in the future!
